What is Reforestation?
Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. They also provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines.
Today, reforestation efforts have been a major category of support for employees and companies as wildfires increase in size globally, unsustainable deforestation continues, and billions of people across the globe unite to make a difference.

Raise awareness of the importance of taking care of our environment while actually doing it!
One Tree Planted and WeHero are enabling participants to reforest our local communities one volunteer event at a time. After watching a keynote about the status of our forests, employees will begin their planting journey. We’ll provide saplings and supplies so participants have everything need to successfully grow trees until they are ready to be planted into the ground.
In addition, for every participant, One Tree Planted and WeHero plants nine trees for a total impact of 10 trees planted.
Join us in this event whether virtual, together, or on your own to grow trees, learn about our local tree canopy and global reforestation efforts, and connect over a fun activity.

What is the lead time for events where materials are included?
Standard lead times 4 weeks from the event date. If we are including a sign-up process then 5 to 6 weeks preferred.
Can I select the nonprofit or location we support?
Yes, we can work with a non-profit and location of your choosing as long as they agree to work with WeHero.
Can I deliver locally in my community?
Depending on the event, yes! We do our best to support you in donating to your local community if preferred.
Can I offer multiple experiences?
Yes, you can offer as many as you want! You can also offer multiple sessions of the same experience.
Can I modify an event?
Yes, a surcharge may apply depending on the modifications.
How many packages come with each physical experience?
It varies by which event, but most experiences have three packages included to be assembled per participant.
Is there a monetary donation?
Most of our experiences where there are no material donations will include a monetary donation built into the price. This varies depending on the experience.
What is the cancellation policy?
The standard cancelation policy is within 30 days of the event, however, this varies based on event type (i.e. in-person versus remote). Please contact us for our full cancellation policy.
Are these offered globally?
Yes, some programs can be offered outside the US. Please inquire for more details on countries and event experiences available!
