What is Honey Harvest?
Farmers that keep bees are able to harvest honey during the non-growing season to earn extra income, producing 60 pounds or more of honey each year. Bees are essential to healthy crops, and their rapid decline threatens global food security.
Heifer International and WeHero are enabling employees to build bee habitats and learn about the importance of regenerative agriculture, and donate over 3,000 bees/participant to farms in the developing world.
We ship the entire experience to you along with materials for planting your pollinator plants and building your habitats.
The impact created is thousands of pollinating plants cared for, bee habitats built for your local community, hundreds of hives donated to developing communities, and millions of bees supported.

What is the lead time for events where materials are included?
Standard lead times 4 weeks from the event date. If we are including a sign-up process then 5 to 6 weeks preferred.
Can I select the nonprofit or location we support?
Yes, we can work with a non-profit and location of your choosing as long as they agree to work with WeHero.
Can I deliver locally in my community?
Depending on the event, yes! We do our best to support you in donating to your local community if preferred.
Can I offer multiple experiences?
Yes, you can offer as many as you want! You can also offer multiple sessions of the same experience.
Can I modify an event?
Yes, a surcharge may apply depending on the modifications.
How many packages come with each physical experience?
It varies by which event, but most experiences have three packages included to be assembled per participant.
Is there a monetary donation?
Most of our experiences where there are no material donations will include a monetary donation built into the price. This varies depending on the experience.
What is the cancellation policy?
The standard cancelation policy is within 30 days of the event, however, this varies based on event type (i.e. in-person versus remote). Please contact us for our full cancellation policy.
Are these offered globally?
Yes, some programs can be offered outside the US. Please inquire for more details on countries and event experiences available!
