What is Rethink Plastic?
Plastic pollution is a significant environmental issue, with projections indicating more plastic than fish in the ocean by 2050. Only 9% of the world’s plastic is recycled.
Participants will explore the impact of plastic pollution on our health and the environment while discovering practical solutions to reduce their reliance on plastic.
Each person assembles plastic-free kitchen packs to donate to individuals in community housing. Items include reusable wash clothes and brush, cleaning bottles and a letter of support. Additionally for each participant, a donation is also made to Plastic Oceans to support their advocacy work! The Impact Tracker below automatically updates based on your group size and can be customized for your event.
