Paws & Pillows
Each year, over six million animals enter shelters across the United States. While many shelters work tirelessly to care for them, limited resources can mean basic comforts, like bedding, are in short supply. As a result, some dogs and cats are left sleeping on hard concrete floors during an already stressful time.
All animals deserve a warm, comfortable place to rest. Participants will create fleece pet beds to donate to a local shelter, helping provide comfort and reduce anxiety for animals as they wait for their forever home. Plus, for every volunteer who participates, one pound of pet food will also be donated, extending the impact even further.
