What is Brake the Cycle?
A child’s first bicycle can change their life. A bike teaches the power, freedom, and independence of learning something on their own and controlling their own movement.
Unfortunately, bikes are expensive and as kids grow, they need to be replaced frequently. The cost of providing this essential item for children can be out of reach for many.
We work with a handful of local partners to ensure the bikes are delivered to the children who need them most in your local community.
Build bikes as a team to help support children in need in your local community. Volunteers work to construct the bikes and ensure they’re safe and ready to be donated!
Learn about the power of bikes, how they’re needed in your community, and give the gift of bikes. WeHero will provide all the needed supplies to put the bikes together whether you’re completing the event remotely or in person.
