What is Ready, Willing & Able

About the cause: The Doe Fund was founded on a simple premise: Work works. The Doe Fund’s Mission is to break the cycles of homelessness, addiction, and recidivism by providing holistic services, housing, and work opportunities.

What we’ll do: We’re supporting men coming out of incarceration with needed hygiene and grooming kits to aid in their re-entrance to society. We ship the entire volunteer experience to your home or office along with educational materials, packaging, prepaid shipping labels, and all the needed supplies. Join us for this virtual event as we learn about the Doe Fund, make an impact, and connect over a fun activity!

How It Works

WeHero events are designed to be easy while maximizing impact.

How Many Employees?

Select how many employees you would like to have participate in the Ready, Willing & Able event.

We Box It Up

Working with our non-profit partners we source all the necessary materials and activities, add easy to follow instructions, box it up, and ship it to you.

Have Your Event

We host a live event via Zoom or a preferred web conferencing system. Don’t worry, it’s easy and our team is always available for support.

Send It Back

We provide pre-paid shipping labels and boxes to make shipping everything back easy. Once the event is over, we send a thank you email to your team detailing the impact as well as ways to continue supporting the cause.

WeHero offsets the carbon on every shipment for your volunteer experience. We also use recycled materials, compostable bags, and algae-based inks as much as possible.

What does your event come with?

Dedicated Event Coordinator
After booking your event, you are assigned a WeHero event coordinator to support you with all items related to your event. We’re here to make sure your event is perfect!

Live Event
We host a live event for your team as well as detailed instructions to have the perfect event!

Hygiene Supplies
Each event contains hygiene and grooming kits needed for men coming out of incarceration to aid in their re-entrance to society.

Letters
Use the WeHero notepaper to write the recipient of your kit a short letter. Encourage them to stay strong through this difficult time. It means a lot to them that someone out there is thinking of them.

Pre-paid Envelopes
Shipping is easy! We’ve included pre-stamped envelopes. Just have the USPS pick up your letters or drop them off at any USPS drop-box or location!

Impact Report
There’s more to this experience than meets the eye. We send a thank you email to your team with details on the impact created!

Yes! Our team is here and available to make sure your event is awesome. You’ll find we touch base regularly to make sure all goes smoothly.

Can a WeHero event work for a large group of employees?

Absolutely. These events can scale with the size of your group.

How do I go about getting budget for something like this?

Do I need to handle any of the shipping and is it an extra cost?

There is no additional charge for shipping. WeHero handles all of the shipping including having USPS pick up the completed kits from your office when your event is complete.
