Art For Social Equality

Join on: February 25th – 12:00 PM ET

We're sending a message through 60 pieces of art

About the cause: Black Lives Matter Arts+Culture expands and explores this moment in art culture that is reflective of the 1960s and 1970s when the Civil Rights, Black Power, and Women’s Rights Movements, and efforts to diversify art institutions, dominated the discourse. Art For Social Equality is a program designed to serve as a connection point to educate our communities on the intersection of art, culture, and politics. Through artistic expression and engagement, we will empower our communities, change the landscape, and inspire new realities.

About the event: All participants will receive their own personal art supply kit delivered directly to their doorstep. The event will start with a keynote as we seek to garner education around social justice movements and how we can create the greatest impact possible. We will then shift gears and watch our art instructor as he or she teaches us how to create art that provides a message and has meaning. You can keep your completed art or send it to Black Lives Matter to support their mission.

On average, individuals support 1 activist every 8 days just by surfing the web.

Raise support for activist groups with every browser tab you open in Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge!

HeroTab transforms your “new tab” page. Each time you open a tab, you will be greeted with a new image, the amount raised, and a couple of banner ads. We collect ad revenue from the page and use it to donate to the causes you are supporting!

The best part, you see the actual number of kids you supported!
